Miner's Guild

The miner's guild is a loose association of miners, who share information on who is hostile and who is friendly to their industry. They remember who wrongs their members, even among their own membership. -In-Game Description

Coming from all areas of Enceladus, the miner's guild is a collection of civilian miners who form the majority of the workforce in the rings. Their main interest is similar to the main premise of your work in the rings: mining the rings for ore for profit. Civilian miners typically use a greater variety of equipment options than others. Civilian captains can be seen flying K37s, Cothons, Prospectors, and very occasionally you'll see the especially successful captain flying an EIME. Many captains leave the ship running stock hardware, but it's not uncommon to see a ship flying with a few modifications to the usual load out.

Those in the guild are typically welcoming of new captains, as many will fly in with them for their first month of duty to ensure that they are fit for flying.

Vilcy

A Vilcy K37 is easily recognizable by their profession paintjob.

The Vilcy - an organised bounty hunter group - have the money, hardware, and ex-military expertise at their disposal to be successful in the industry of bounty collection in the rings. Their influence in the field is so dominant that most people seeking to make a career of bounty hunting subcontract under the Vilcy for their license. -In-Game Description

Where trouble in the ring occurs, the Vilcy are swift to arrive on the scene. Vilcy can be seen flying lone or in packs, always on the hunt for pirates, as they are frequently seen engaging with them. Even on their own, hanging around is likely to result in an encounter.

The Vilcy's second job is handing out bounty licenses. They are earned through proving yourself worthy of combat, and bringing proof to their mobile base. A bounty license effectively makes you Vilcy, and gives you access to the bounty system, where you can get an extra bonus for pirate lifepods at enceladus, or being able to score even bigger bounties by bring pirate ships and lifepods to the Big Bad Wolf for an extra reward for turning in the pirates, which specifically range from E$50,000 to E$150,000.

Ganymede for Anarchy (G4A)

It's not really about piracy, it's about being ungoverned by nations and corporations... I can’t speak for our fellows, but this ship hunts because we are hunted. -In-Game Description

The Ganymedians (also referred to as Pirates) are a looser collection of people that resorted to life within the rings. Their life within the rings is a result of trying to avoid the 'oppressive' body of Enceladus. To avoid detection, many took out their transponders, appearing as unidentified (UIO) ships to those in the vicinity.

The Ganymedians resorted to piracy as a last resort, taking civilian ships to use as their own as well as for supplies. Their remnants can be found everywhere in the rings, as their inability to return to Enceladus has left them to leave things others might be able to take back in their place.

Obonto Habitats

Obonto maintains an SRA series of habitats in the Saturn-Enceladus system, for agricultural and research purposes. These platforms face the same dangers as any ship in the rings, 24 hours a day, and regularly interact and trade with independents in the ring, as delivery runs into the rings are inconsistent. -In-Game Description

Obonto Microengineering's solution to those who felt that life on Enceladus just wasn't good enough. The few SRA (Saturn-Ring-A) habitats that spot the rings provide for getaways for people to live within the rings. However, living in places like this has it's costs, and many things aren't available as on-demand as they are at Enceladus. Due to this, the habitats contract many miners to mine and process ore (MPU required) for them, as sometimes deliveries may be late or don't arrive at all. Generally asking for iron, vanadium, platinum and palladium, they offer prices easily making it worth 2-3 times as much as on Enceladus due to their need for it. In desperate times, they may take the urgency into account, and ask desperately for minerals at prices easily worth 6 times that at Enceladus to ensure their continued survival.

Rogue AI

Drone swarms developed personality quirks in their neural networks which diminished performance over time, with drones engaging in social behaviour rather than excavation. -In-Game Description

Occasionally, the average Ringa encounters rogue drones. Leftovers from failed tech trials, or sometimes something else entirely. Seen occasionally throughout the rings, NT companions travel in packs and swarms, going about their life as miners, but bound to themselves instead of a captain's ship.
