Electrical power
Ships electrical power is provided by the on-board power plant - usually a codex:turbine or and codex:magnetoplasmadynamic generator. The power plant supplies all the on-board systems with power required for operation. Peak usage is handled by codex:ultracapacitor array.
Both methods rely on availability of heat produced by reactor and might fail due to codex:overcooling.
