Collecting Minerals

The ore minerals will be found in chunks when breaking apart smaller ringroids. If you have an MPU on board, you can have the ores processed down and stored in either the internal storage, or in cargo containers if you have them at the cost of some collection inefficiency depending on which model is chosen. Most MPU models will also convert the water content of ore chunks into reaction mass.

Ore in any form can be brought back to Enceladus Prime to be sold or stored in the mineral market. Ore chunks will be converted at their complete mass instead of the losses you could take from converting with an MPU.

Selling Minerals

Minerals collected on a dive can always be sold at Enceladus Prime. If not, having it stored in the mineral market will let you sell at any point, taking into account fluctuations in the market, but can only be sold/bought in lots of 1 metric tonne.

You also have the option to sell minerals within the rings to Obonto Habitats for a significantly greater price than what you would get at Enceladus, potentially getting an urgent deal for even more profit. However, the mineral sold is randomly determined and will change every week, as well as the fact that they will never purchase tungsten or beryllium.
