Coilgun

A coulgun uses superconductive coils to propel a ferromagnetic slug to a high velocities. Mining coilguns typically fire a empty iron shell that's designed to collapse on impact and deliver most of the energy to center of the codex:ringroids. Coilguns are more complex than railguns and have lower rate of fire, but have much better efficiency and typically can fire heavier projectiles.
