Kinetic Ammunition

To fire Mass Drivers, kinetic ammunition must be carried on the ship. When launching for a dive, ammunition can be bought in batches of 1000kg for an average cost of 250 E$, thought this price can change depending on the market.

To store ammunition, a Projectile magazine must be installed onto the ship. Each magazine has 2 stats a captain needs consider. Storage refers to how much ammunition a ship can carry. Delivery refers to how many kilograms a second the storage system can supply to weapons. If the combine fire rate of all the Mass Drivers on the ship exceed its delivery, the driver's rate-of-fire will be limitted to the delivery rate.

Without a mass driver, it is recommended to seal the magazine due to the redundant weight of bringing ammo that cannot be used.

Note that some magazines, such as Frigate & Destroyer-class, will require bigger ships to be able to install.
