Contacts are locations that can be found and accessed on the [[OMS#Astrogator|astrogator menu in OMS]]. They can be traveled to both in-ring and from Enceladus Prime, and can be the location of various events and objects in the rings. Most are reliant on an [[Crew#Astrogator|astrogator's]] experience to track for long periods of time. Without an astrogator, any trackable or empheral contact will only be available for 12 hours from your basic astrogator training, and if they are lost, they can still be viewed with the Show Lost Destinations option, however they will have drifted away from the location you end up due to the movement of the rings, with the distance increasing with the length that they remain lost.
